In May 2002, Project Harmony and Connected Minds entered into a mutually beneficial partnership. Connected Minds produced lesson plans for Project Harmony's upcoming school connectivity programs, working with Armenia, Azerbaijan and the United States. Students were introduced to lesson plans involving the topics of:

  1. Introductions and Interdependence
  2. Images and Perceptions
  3. Conflict & Conflict Resolution
  4. Social Justice & Change for the Future

The 2002-03 collaboration between Connected Minds and Project Harmony completed with resounding success, as students from sixty U.S. schools communicated regularly with students from sixty-nine Armenian and Azerbaijani schools. Education World rated the content of the program as "A+", the highest possible rating.

Collaboration between Project Harmony and Connected Minds has continued through 2004. Connected Minds developed a timely and relevant set of lesson plans regarding the history of conflict between Iraq and the United States. Students from the United States, Armenia and Azerbaijan analyzed the history of the conflict using a methodology for conflict resolution presented in the Connected Minds curriculum. The students then offered insight and suggestions for resolving the conflict. The student suggestions for resolution of the conflict were nothing short of genius.
