A: Connected Minds is a non-profit organization that works to break down barriers, fight ignorance, and create an understanding of cultural differences through cross-cultural education initiatives.

Q: What does Connected Minds do?
A: We have developed an award winning, multi-cultural classroom curriculum. We are also developing a sustainable web-community, which fully integrates with the curriculum; this initiative will raise the bar in regards to distance learning.

A: We not only teach concepts, we challenge students to form their own opinions & views. Students love it.

Q: Are communications restricted to these topics?
A: No. We provide a multicultural framework, and have also built in flexibility for the students to talk about their daily lives, concerns, hopes, dreams, etc.

Q: Who teaches the lessons in the curriculum?
A: Either by their teacher or by our volunteers in the local community – people just like you!

Q: How is each topic of the curriculum taught?
A: Each topic lasts three weeks as follows:
- Students participate in lesson and activity
- Students email partners about lesson
- Students read email & respond

Q: Where does Connected Minds get its funding from?
A: Connected Minds is an all-volunteer organization. We attempt to minimize our basic operating costs, allowing us to allocate most donations to connecting more people. Your support is imperative to the future of cross-cultural education.

Q: How can I help Connected Minds?
A: There are many ways you can help. You can find out about volunteer jobs with the organization. You can also evaluate your local education structure and find out why multicultural ideas are not being presented thoroughly. You may also donate a monetary contribution.
